2010 - Founding of Assamblage, Contemporary Jewelry School

Contemporary jewelry began to take shape in Romania at the beginning of the year 2000, as a result of the work done by designer David Sandu. Assamblage, School of Contemporary Jewelry emerged in 2010 as a very useful and realistic instrument in connection with the needs of Romanian design. In a short time it becomes a more and more substantial and complex mechanism that keeps evolving. Consequently, this mechanism generated a very tight-knit creative community, which began to express itself and contribute to the development of the field. With the help of Assamblage, contemporary jewelry becomes a viable option for study and career.
